Core 3Cs -(Meet Our Collective Leaders)

At FAT, leadership is not concentrated in one individual—it is shared by the young women who have grown through our programmes and now collectively guide the organization. This reflects our belief that those closest to the work are best placed to lead it.

Our leadership is rooted in the BeeHive Leadership Model, a collective approach built on shared responsibility, participation, and community ownership. Girls and young women who join FAT's programmes grow into facilitators, mentors, and organizational leaders, ensuring that decision-making remains grounded in lived experience and community realities.

Together, our Champions, Companions, and Collective Members work across programme delivery, organizational development, partnerships, communications, finance, research, and community engagement to strengthen FAT's mission and build community-led leadership.

Champions

Champions lead the organisational decisions in FAT

Companions

Companions work alongside Champions to support programme delivery.

Collective Leaders

Collectives are community-led groups formed by young women who have completed FAT's leadership pathway and are ready to take forward its mission within their own communities. They will lead and sustain the Girls in STEM (GiSTEM) and Young Women Leadership Programme (YWLPA), creating local spaces for learning, leadership, and collective action.

Our first collective is in Delhi, and its center is located in the Nehru Nagar. This collective is run by Rani, Meena, and Mahjabi.

Meet Our 3 Supporting Cs

At FAT, the 3 Supporting Cs—Coaches, Counselors, and Consultants—provide the support, expertise, and care that enable our collective leadership to grow and thrive. They work alongside Collective Leaders, Champions, and Companions, strengthening learning, wellbeing, and organisational capacities while keeping leadership and decision-making rooted within the collective.

Our 3 Supporting Cs are part of the BeeHive Leadership Model, complementing rather than replacing the leadership of young women and communities. They bring mentoring, specialised knowledge, and wellbeing support where needed, helping FAT's collective learn, adapt, and build the capacities needed to sustain its work.

Together, Coaches, Counselors, and Consultants strengthen FAT's programmes, organisational development, and collective leadership while supporting the organisation's long-term resilience and growth.
