Chandrika Sahai
Chandrika Sahai is the Coordinator (since 2012) of Philanthropy for Social Justice and Peace (PSJP). She supports PSJP’s strategy, network development and administration. Chandrika’s work focuses on transformative change and people led philanthropy. She previously worked with the Dalit Foundation, consulted for the Global Fund for Community Foundations, Foundations for Peace Network and the Aga Khan Foundation, USA. She began her career at the Society for Child Development in New Delhi. Chandrika holds a Masters degree in History from the University of Delhi and lives in Jaipur, India.
Gayatri Buragohain
Gayatri Buragohain (Secretary) is the ex-officio member and Executive Director of FAT. An electronics engineer by education and a passionate advocate of equal participation of women in technology, Gayatri is also the founder of FAT. Here, she combines her technological background with her passion for working on women's rights. For her dedication towards promoting women in technology, she was awarded the Change Agent Award by Anita Borg Institute in 2010. She has earlier also served as the ACM-W (Women’s Council of ACM) Ambassador in India and Executive Director of Foundation for Social Transformation (FST) in Northeast of India.
Nayanatara Ranganathan
Nayantara is Programme Manager - Freedom of Expression at the Internet Democracy Project, where she works on issues of surveillance, net neutrality and gender as it relates to the internet. She is interested in the politics and culture of technology.
Pradeep Esteves
Pradeep has been involved in development activities for almost four decades. The first two were at the grassroots, which were, according to him, the best part of his involvement. He continues to be a development activist and wears multiple hats. At present he supports and facilitates change processes, organisational development and takes up research on developmental issues,he is also Director, Context India. He is exploring and promoting social ventures for social impact maximization and he specialises in facilitating change processes in organisations and research on developmental issues. Pradeep is a development activist at heart!
Rubi
Rubi is 18 and has been with FAT for two years. She wants to do everything that people say only boys can do and is taking small steps to accomplish this dream. She represents the girls and the community that FAT serves on the board.
