Mahjabi is a Collective Leader at Feminist Approach to Technology (FAT), having been associated with the organisation since 2017. She first joined FAT as a participant and later completed a Level 3 Internship. In 2021, she rejoined FAT as a Level 3 Participant and continued her journey with the organisation. Currently, as a Collective Leader, she runs a Tech Centre where she works with girls aged 14–18 through Level 1, engaging closely with girls from her own community.
Her journey with FAT has shaped her understanding of feminist leadership and agency through her experiences of learning, facilitating, and working with girls in her community. Working with adolescent girls has strengthened her belief in creating spaces where girls can express themselves, make decisions, build confidence, and recognise their own agency.
